Meet your team of weight loss nutritionists:

Julia Fuller – Chief Health Officer

My name is Julia and I am the Chief Health Officer at Med-Fit. I am originally from Rochester, New York and received my Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and Masters in Clinical Exercise and Nutrition from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.

I have always been passionate about health and fitness and helping people to create healthier and happier lives. After working in cardiac rehabilitation during my final year of graduate school I was able to realize how much weight played a role in many of the health issues of the patients we saw. It is my goal to help every client create healthier and sustainable lifestyle changes through proper exercise and nutrition.

I enjoy spending my time away from Med-Fit with family and friends and exploring all of the hiking, skiing, rollerblading, and exploring that Colorado has to offer an East Coast transplant.

Janelle Medernach – Registered Dietician

My name is Janelle, and I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences with an emphasis on Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale in Carbondale, Illinois, I also received my Master’s Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis on Human Nutrition and Dietetics on December 12, 2015, from Illinois State University in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. I love conversing with patients and learning more about them, along with teaching them. From my previous experience, I spent a lot of face-to-face time with patients, and I believe that it is crucial to form those trusting and lasting bonds as you continue to meet and get to know each other as you build up that relationship. As a dietitian, I think it is important to be positive and optimistic with all patients, along with being able to provide genuine positive reinforcement and encouragement. I always try to be empathetic and understanding by putting myself in my patients’ shoes. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, baking, cooking, exercising, and reading, as I am an avid Harry Potter fan.

Nicole Ledoux – Personal Fitness Trainer and Nutritionist

My name is Nicole, and I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition with a pre-medicine emphasis at Arizona State University. I have a solid background in clinical nutrition and laboratory work which is often critical in teaching patients on how nutrition affects their bodies and how to empower them to achieve weight loss and a long-term healthy lifestyle. I enjoy working with patients to help them reach the next level both on a physical and emotional level, and I bring my positive attitude to consistently motivate my patients to succeed. I take pride in being a constant learner and staying up to date on the latest research on nutrition so I can provide my patients the most accurate information to help them lose weight. It is my passion to help others succeed and provide the needed emotional support that is often one of the major barriers that one has with their weight loss journey. Since I am still relatively new to Colorado, I enjoy being active outside and exploring the mountains. I also enjoying building furniture in my spare time.
